1С:Trade Management has been developed to support the trading cycle in its entirety through automation of all the stages, from analyzing the demand for goods and planning supplies up to shipping. It represents a powerful tool enabling wholesale and retail enterprises to carry out complex automation of their business processes.

As a trade-specific applied solution, “1C:Enterprise 8. Trade Management” makes it possible to manage the following activities:

  • Turnover of goods and their prices

  • Processing of purchase orders

  • Stock balance & inventory

  • Supply chain analysis

  • Planning of sales and shipping

To handle all this, eight functional blocks have been created within the 1C:Trade Management system:

“1C:Trade Management” automatically performs all routine trade and warehouse operations, executes bank and cash transactions, does the primary financial data capture which is then transferred to 1C:Accounting applications

In the 1C:Trade Management system, both completed and planned trade operations get reflected, thus allowing to auto generate nearly all the primary documents of trade and warehouse accounting as well as cash flow statements

Subsequently, based on the accounting results, 1C: Trade Management is able to produce various types of reports for performing a comprehensive analysis of the company trading activities.

Thanks to the possibility of producing different reports, the system enables an enterprise to track target indicators and exercise overall control after the company activities.

On top of it, this software solution has a built-in mechanism for segmenting the customer base, monitoring the company’s client dynamics, making sales forecasting by using various data modelling methods.

To ensure better stock management and accounting for warehousing operations, an upgrade from “1C:Trade and Warehouse 7.7” has also been made available.

The automation of most business processes related to wholesale and retail trade enables sales department managers and directors of trading companies to focus more on finding new business development opportunities.

Apart from it, “1C:Enterprise 8. Trade Management” offers special reporting options for top management to be able to design the enterprise strategy based on:

  • Cash flow and balance
  • Billing and receivables
  • Inventory statement
  • Schedule of incoming and outgoing payments
  • Cost of goods in warehouse
  • Sales representatives’ performance
  • Efficiency of marketing campaigns run

It’s possible to set up all these types of reports to be generated automatically with a certain periodicity and be distributed by email, therefore permitting the company directors to stay abreast of actual sales and financial information and make better-informed decisions even when they are on a business trip.

Rounding up the description of this applied solution, it’s worthwhile mentioning several sub-systems existing within the developed web application:

Remote integrations with trade equipment (scales, POS, barcode scanners).

Sending documents to a printer

Export and conversion of data files into .doc (Microsoft Word) and .odt (OpenOffice) formats.

Performing typical operations with files

Document version control
