1C:Enterprise represents a combination of the Platform and Applied Solutions (ready-made applications). It’s very easy to distinguish between the Platform and Applied Solutions: the Platform is a ‘foundation’ to support the applications run on it. The Platform is actually unique, whereas applied solutions can be many (see the diagram below).
